The Inspector allows you to precisely control and change the order of objects and areas of your canvas. You can also use this tool to copy and group objects, as well as set a background to your project.
Using the Inspector

- Select the Inspector from the toolbar or by clicking and holding a desired object/objects when you have the Hand Tool activated, or by selecting the”i”key on your keyboard. You can also activate the Inspector by right clicking on an object/objects.
- Choose one of three tabs:
- Arrange to move objects horizontally, vertically, and through the layers of your Explain Everything project.
- Edit to group, copy, paste and flip objects, as well as set a background. You can also add objects on your canvas to your Clipart Gallery.
- Lock to lock objects on the canvas. This will allow you to keep an object in place or precisely control the way the object moves on the canvas.
- Select the object/objects you wish to apply changes to.
- Select one of the options from the tab you chose.
Share as image
Select the Share icon in the upper left corner of the tab to download the selected object as an image.
Delete
Select Delete in the upper right corner of the tab to quickly dispose of a selected object or objects. Find out more about deleting objects.
