Take up Explain Everything challenges

If you’d like to test your skills and see what you can do, you can take up Explain Everything's challenges.

Challenges are skill-building projects with a set of steps that you need to make in order to complete them. Each project challenge you complete brings you closer to the next level which unlocks new rewards.

Note: Challenges are currently available only to iPadOS users of Explain Everything.

What to expect

• Challenges — complete challenges to gain levels. The higher the level, the more challenges you will need to complete to level up.
• Rewards — get rewards for the levels you complete. Each level will unlock a new reward.

Complete challenges

Each challenge addresses a different Explain Everything's functionality and consists of the steps you need to make in order to complete it.

Use an interactive Helper to guide you through each challenge. Follow the instructions displayed by the Helper and take up the given actions to achieve goals set for each challenge. If the Helper stands in your way, you can hold it and move it to a place that suits you.

You can also reset or exit the challenge and display additional hints with the help of it.

Start a challenge

1. Head to the Home tab.
2. From the Actions section, select Practice & Earn Rewards.
3. Select the project challenge you’d like to take up.

Reset or exit the challenge

You can reset or exit the challenge any time you want. To start the challenge over, drag the Helper to the left or right side of your device's screen — depending on the position of the Toolbar you have set — and drop it on the Reset button. To leave the challenge, drag and drop it on the Exit button.

Note: The position of the Reset and Exit buttons depends on the position of the Toolbar on your device's screen. If you have it set on the left side of your device's screen, you'll unveil the Reset and Exit buttons by moving the Helper to the right side of your device's screen. If you have the Toolbar set on the right side of your device's screen, you'll unveil the Reset and Exit buttons by moving the Helper to the left side of your device's screen. Display additional hints

Whenever you're stuck or lost in the challenge, you can use the Helper to get additional hints. After the Helper displays the instruction of the step to make, select it to get extra tips on what to do.

Get rewards

To complete a challenge, you need to make all the steps within it. Upon completing a certain number of challenges, you will level up and unlock a reward. The higher the level, the more challenges you will need to complete to level up.

For every challenge you complete, you'll earn a star visible in the upper-right corner of the challenge’s thumbnail. To see how many challenges are required to complete the level, look up the number below the progress bar on top of the Challenges and Rewards modal window. The progress bar will fill up as you complete the challenges.
