You don’t need an internet connection to use Explain Everything, however, you will need it to sign up and get started.
Having the application on your tablet or phone means you can freely use Explain Everything offline. Wherever you are!
Note Remember that some features are not available when you work offline. If you’d like to save your projects to a cloud or collaborate with others, it requires an internet connection. Learn more about the differences between local and cloud projects.
The web version of Explain Everything has to be used online. Projects you work on there are being saved in Explain Everything’s cloud — the Explain Drive.
The Explain Everything Basics version also doesn’t require an internet connection, but you won’t be able to use the cloud feature with it. Check out the other differences between these two versions of Explain Everything.
