You can integrate Explain Everything and Canvas LMS. This way your organization or course will have instant access to easy Web Video Link embedding via Rich Content Editor extension, Explain Everything-based assignments, and course-wide live whiteboarding sessions.
Note: A paid Explain Everything account is necessary to be able to use Explain Everything LMS integration features. While users on individual plans (Pro, Solo Teacher) can enable integrations, Assignments and Live Whiteboarding features work only in Explain Everything Group Accounts. They can be enabled by group Admins and Teachers/Managers.

Add Explain Everything to Canvas
Depending on your Canvas role, you can add the integration either to the whole account or a specific course.

As an Admin, you can add Explain Everything integration to all Courses in your account. This way, all Teachers and Students will have access to features that come with the integration and whenever a course is created the integration will add to it.

Add Explain Everything via Edu App Center
Before you start
- Have your Integration Keys handy for copy-pasting as you'll need them during the process.
- Make sure your user role allows adding external apps. If you don't see the option of adding an app, it means your Account Admin may have disabled this permission.
- Log in to your Admin account in Canvas.
- From the Global Navigation Menu, select Admin.
- Select the name of your account.
- In the Account Navigation Menu, select Settings.
- Select the Apps tab at the top.
- Find Explain Everything on the list or type Explain Everything in the search field to find it.
- Once found, select its thumbnail.
- Select the + App button.
- Select the Add App button to add the Explain Everything integration to your account.
- Once it’s added, select the View App Configurations button in the top right-hand corner of the Apps tab.
- Find Explain Everything on the list.
- Select Settings on the right.
- From the dropdown menu, choose Edit.
- From the Configuration Type dropdown, select By URL.
- In the Consumer Key field, enter your Explain Everything Customer Key.
- In the Shared Secret field, enter your Explain Everything Shared Secret.
- When you’re ready, select Submit.
