For large-scale presentations and lessons, you can share your entire Explain Everything screen to an external conferencing software. Screen sharing is available in all major video meetings apps so you can easily show your whiteboarding to your audience.
Screen sharing basics
- Your audience will see what you see in Explain Everything. While sharing, your entire screen will be visible, including toolbars and menus.
- Participant limit is dependent only on the conferencing solution you're using.
- Quality of your video stream is highly dependent on your Internet connection and conferencing service.
Share your Explain Everything screen
First, make sure you have your conferencing app installed on your device. Here are the most popular conferencing apps on the App Store:
- Zoom
- Hangouts Meet by Google
- BlueJeans
- Microsoft Teams
- GoToMeeting
- Zoho Meeting
- Cisco Webex Meetings
- join.me - Simple Meetings
Then, open your conferencing app. Join or create a meeting. Check out instructions on how to do it at your conference app's provider help center. Once you do that head to Explain Everything and open the project you'd like to share.
- Select Share from the top, right-hand corner of the screen.
- Choose Broadcast. A menu will show up with the list of apps.
- Select your conferencing app.
- Tap Start Broadcast to share your Explain Everything screen in the meeting you're in.
Note for Explain Everything Basics users: The Broadcast option is available in the Control Center of your Apple device. To access it, enable Screen Recording in your Control Center. Then touch and hold on Screen Recording button in the Control Center to open the broadcasting menu.
