In order to join a Group, you'll need an Explain Everything account. If you don't have one yet, you'll be able to create it during the process of joining the Group.
Tip Don't want to use email when joining? Check out how to invite your Group without emails.
Ways of joining a Group
- Accept email invitation from your Group's Admin.
- Enter CODE provided by your Group's Admin.
- Register using an email from a whitelisted domain.
Note If you already have a paid account with an active subscription you won't be able to join a Group. First, please cancel the subscription. Then you either wait for it to expire or reach us on support@explaineverything.com so we'll deactivate it. Once your subscription is expired, you will be able to join your Group immediately.
Join a Group with an email invitation
When an Admin of your group set up a Group Account, you can get an email invitation sent to the email address they provided. In this case, all you need to do is to follow the instructions given in the email.
Join a Group with a CODE
There is also a possibility that you will get a CODE provided by an Admin of your group. See, how to join a group by the Invite Code.
Register from a whitelisted domain
The Owner of a Group can request a self-registration for their account by whitelisting a certain domain. If that’s the case for your organization, all you need to do is to create an account using your organizational email address.
