Copy, paste, and duplicate objects

You can edit your project by pasting copied content, copying, and duplicating elements on your canvas.

Copy objects from your canvas

You can copy selected objects from your canvas to the clipboard so you can share it or paste it onto another slide later.

  1. Select the  Hand Tool from the toolbar.
  2. Select an object (or objects) on the canvas that you'd like to copy.
  3. From the Context Menu select the  More tab.
  4. Select   Copy.

Paste content onto the canvas

You can paste content onto your canvas that you copied from Explain Everything or other apps.

  1. Select the  Hand Tool from the toolbar.
  2. Select and hold an empty area of your canvas. A menu will appear.
  3. Select Paste.

Tip: If your slide is cluttered you can select any object with the  Hand Tool and from the Context Menu, select the  More tab. You will also find Paste there.

Duplicate selected elements

When you need more of the same elements on your canvas, you can create copies of them with one press of a button.

  1. Select the  Hand Tool from the toolbar.
  2. Select an object (or objects) on the canvas that you'd like to duplicate.
  3. From the Context Menu select the  More tab.
  4. Select   Duplicate.
