Your canvas in Explain Everything can be vibrant and full of life thanks to animation looping and additional effects you can apply to objects.
Note: These features are currently available only on the Apple and Google versions of Explain Everything. They are coming to the Web version in the future.
Set automatic rotation
You can make objects and groups rotate indefinitely, set the rotation speed, and center of the rotation.
- Select the Hand Tool from the toolbar.
- Select the object on the canvas that you'd like to scroll infinitely.
- From the Context Menu select the Special effects tab.
- Select Set auto rotation.
- Set the center of the rotation by dragging the control by the Position handle.
- Swipe across the Speed control or select the Speed setting to set the rotation speed. Select the Speed control to stop the rotation.
Tip: If you set Auto rotation for a group, use the red control circle to control rotation for the whole group.

- Select the object on the canvas that you'd like to scroll infinitely.
- From the Context Menu select the Special effects tab.

Auto rotation is currently unavailable on the Web versions of Explain Everything.
Infinite scrolling
You can set images and drawings so they infinitely scroll in the direction of your choice. This way you can set up moving backgrounds and create simple animations.
- Select the Hand Tool from the toolbar.
- Select the object (or objects) on the canvas that you'd like to scroll infinitely.
- From the Context Menu select the Special effects tab.
- Select Infinite scroll.
- Drag across the horizontal or vertical panel to set the speed and direction of the scroll. Tap one of the blue dots to stop it.
- Select the checkmark to close the scrolling controls.
Infinite scrolling is currently unavailable on the Google versions of Explain Everything.

Make the object cast shadow
Whenever you'd like to create an illusion of depth to your canvas you can add shadow to objects on it.
- Select the Hand Tool from the toolbar.
- Select the object (or objects) on the canvas that you'd like to cast shadow.
- From the Context Menu select the Special effects tab.
- Select Drop shadow.
- Select the Hand Tool from the toolbar.
- Select the object (or objects) on the canvas that you'd like to cast shadow.
- From the Context Menu select the Special effects tab.
- Select Drop shadow.
Dropping shadow is currently unavailable on the Web versions of Explain Everything.
