Whenever you create a new Web Video Link, there are two stages of the process that affect its length: Upload and Conversion.
The Upload
The duration of this stage depends on the project size and the internet connection upload speed. The more assets (videos, images, documents) were added to the project, the longer it will take to upload. This step is skipped if you are already working on a cloud project as it has already been uploaded.
The Conversion
During this time the project file is rendered into a video in the cloud servers of Explain Drive.
Video conversion time — the quick answer
The average time to prepare a video is 17 seconds per 1 min of a project. This means that a 1 hour presentation on average should be ready in about 17 minutes.
Video conversion time — a longer explanation
When you add a recording to your project, it is not immediately a video file, but Explain Everything's proprietary editable file format. This gives you the ability to rewind, edit or add missing elements with no video rendering downtime.

As a result, when you create a Web Video Link, Explain Everything's servers need to convert the project file into a video file. The raw conversion time depends mainly on the amount of motion in your recording and how detailed your project is.
