In Explain Everything, you can collaborate with others to get your point across easier.
Note: The number of people able to collaborate simultaneously is up to 25, but we recommend smaller groups for now — it works best with 8 people. This is important to maintain project's stability. The quality of live collaboration also depends on the quality of your internet connection. We are constantly improving the technical capacity of this feature, so you can count on us gradually reducing those limits.
Collaboration is possible at any stage, so you can decide to create together or record the session using preexisting materials.
Tip: You can control how people are able to access the project and what they will be able to do in it. Learn how to invite others to your project, set up their permissions, and choose the right collaboration scenario.
Start collaboration from an existing local project on mobile apps
You can invite other people to a project you've already created.
- Open the project from your Library.
- Select the Invite button to begin a collaboration. A link will be generated and you'll be able to share it. By default, everyone with the link will be allowed to edit the project's contents.
- Additionally, you can add selected participants by typing in their Explain Everything account name or email. When doing this you can decide to set different permissions for every individual.
- Select Start.
- Choose if you want to start with your microphone muted or not.
From that moment on every participant can use the project link or enter the project's CODE to connect to your session (either in the app or via the search bar at explaineverything.com).
Start collaborating on an existing project on the web

- Additionally, you can select Add People to invite others by their account name or email. When doing this you can decide to set different permissions for every individual.
