There are two situations where you can see that the project is full:
- You or the project owner are on a plan that has a limit to number of participants
- The project you're trying to join is at capacity of simultaneous participants
You or the project owner are on a plan that has a limit to number of participants
Free and Solo Teacher plans feature 1-on-1 collaborations with a 15 minute time limit. On the Advanced plan there is a 30-minute time limit. If there are already 2 people in the project and neither you nor anyone of the participants are on Class, School, Pro, or Team plan, you won't be able to join the project.
Note: Please keep in mind that accounts on Class or School plans can only invite people from their group to the project. Additionally, Students accounts on these plans can only invite Teachers from their group to their projects. If you'd like to be able to host or join projects that anyone can join, get the Pro plan. It is designed for tutoring and professional collaboration scenarios where you can make projects open to anyone.
The project you're trying to join is at a capacity of simultaneous participants
The number of people able to collaborate simultaneously is limited to 25, but we can guarantee the stable connection with smaller groups for now — it works best with 8 people. This is important to maintain project's stability and best user experience. The quality of live collaboration also depends on the quality of your internet connection. We are constantly improving the technical capacity of this feature, so you can count on us gradually reducing those limits.
