Available to: Project Owners
As the owner of a cloud project, you can control access to rules and features for anyone who’d like to connect to it
Once you choose a collaboration scenario, you can control how Participants will be able to interact with your project during collaboration by setting its rules and features: from following the host, through editing possibilities, to microphone muting and editing voice chat options.
Customize collaboration rules and features
- Always follow the host — lets you control Participants’ ability to move around the project.
- No editing — lets you completely disable editing for the Participants of your project.
- Muted microphones — lets you mute Participants’ microphones so they do not transfer any unwanted sounds. With this option ON, they will still be able to hear the Owner or the Host of the project.
- Voice chat — lets you disable Voice chat whenever you’re in a setting that doesn’t need audio communication. With this option ON, no one in collaboration will be able to talk to each other and hear one other.
Note: Collaboration rules and features together with preset scenarios and Participants’ tools apply only to Participants. The Owner and the Host of the project have always full access to all settings. Learn more about roles in collaboration.

Disable this feature whenever you’re in a setting that doesn’t need audio communication: during a live meeting, in the classroom, or whenever you’re using another app that features a voice chat.
Note: In order to disable the Voice chat, your project will need to restart. Nothing will be lost. This will simply reconnect you and other participants to the project.
