Which Plan is for me?
Here are couple of activity and position descriptions that show how Explain Everything is used in certain scenarios.
I’m a private tutor and I have a group of students that I want to work with
Choose the Pro plan. If you know that you will share many projects or videos and invite your students to your projects to connect on a whiteboard it gives you more cloud storage space and allows you to invite anyone to your projects.
Students don’t have to necessarily have accounts if you don’t need them to work independently on projects (like assignments or homework). Find out more in the FAQ
I’m a teacher and I'd like my students to be able to present their understanding with a whiteboard presentation
Choose the School plan. It will allow you to customize students access to Explain Everything and them to create their own whiteboard presentation. It will also allow you to connect with them on their project in case they need help or as a form of assessment. They won't be able to share that content outside your group to protect their privacy.
Learn how you can distribute the licenses to your students.
I’m a lecturer and need this software to present and create materials
Choose the Advanced plan. If you'd like to share your powerful multimedia whiteboard on a classroom screen the Advanced plan lets you do exactly that. It also lets you create videos and materials with no limits. You can later upload them external clouds or streaming video sites like YouTube.
Additionally, you get access to Promethean Engagement Apps, more cloud storage, and increased time for your 1-on-1 online collaborations.
If you’re going to create a lot of videos and share them as Web Video Links, you may need more cloud storage space. You can easily upgrade your Explain Drive storage. Learn more about what you can do if you’re running out of space on Explain Drive.
I run for-profit educational institution and need to provide digital whiteboards to my partners or employees
If you run a for-profit organization, the Team plan will be right for you. The Education plans were created with teachers and institutions with school budgets in mind.
I/we will mostly work online
Choose the Pro or Team plan as they both allow you to create many cloud projects and videos by providing you with 20 GB storage space.
I/we will mostly work in a group
This means that you will need more space in the Explain Drive cloud and cannot be limited by collaboration time and participant limit. Go for the Pro or Team plan. They feature 20GB cloud storage per member and no time limit on collaborations.
I want to create videos and upload them on YouTube for educational purposes
Choose the Advanced plan. It allows you to create as many projects as you need and it doesn't limit your recording time.
